After a great performance by Max Holloway defeating Jose Aldo by tko in round 2. Max weathered the storm in the first round and Jose let off sone good shots, but Max used his reach and speed to overcome Jose. Jose gassed in the 2nd round and Max took advantage and dropped Jose. It was clear Jose couldn't defend himself and the referee called the fight. It's hard to see a tough loss coming from someone who was so dominant at one point in time contenders were scared to fight him. I hope he picks it up or see a future at Lightweight like Dustin Poirier. Congratulations to Max Holloway on becoming the Undisputed UFC Featherweight Champion and currently riding an 11 fight win streak. This win streak is the most in featherweight history and he is looking more dominant in every performance. But now he's raising eyebrows and the only question is who's next? A lot of speculation about Frankie Edgar being next is coming about. I personally think Cub Swanson deserves a rematch against Max Halloway. Cub is 10-3 in the UFC and is on a 4 fight win streak. Frankie defeated Yair Rodriguez is probably his most dominant performance ever. How can we not forget that he lost to Jose Ald for the Interim Title at UFC 200. I think the UFC should let Cub get his first shot and then Frankie could be next. But hey that's for the UFC to decide. Leave comments and let me know what you think?
