Does DC need a win over Jon Jones to close out his career?

Since debuting from Strikeforce to the UFC this guy was special as he had wins over Soa Palalei, Bigfoot Silva, and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Josh Barnett. For respect of his fellow teammate he would step down in weight and went for the longtime Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones. Since these two first locked eyes on each other it wasn’t good from the start. Numerous back and fourth on Twitter and then these two would meet at a press conference where all hell would break loose. I haven’t seen so much great buildup to a fight since Rashad Versus Rampage at UFC 110. We as MMA fans knew that we were in for a good ole grudge match. Jon would get his hand raised when it was all said and done but prior to their fight Daniel Cormier said “He knows in his heart he’ll get that title”. Jon would test positive for cocaine metabolites in his system in the post fight testing. That’s exactly what he did after Jon “Bones” Jones would be stripped after things out of the octagon.
After defeating Anthony Johnson to claim the UFC Light Heavyweight crown, the stage was set at UFC 200 that the rematch for the ages would come again. Only will USADA shut that down as Jon would test positive for steroid metabolites in his system. Jon would be taken off and Anderson Silva would take his place in a 3 round decision loss over Daniel Cormier. Finally the two would finally clash and Jon would get the W but not for long as he would again pop for steroid metabolites. DC would be Champion again and Jon would serve a 1 year suspension. DC has not only defended his Light Heavyweight title a number of times but win the Heavyweight title from Stipe Miocic in quick fashion but defend it against Derrick Lewis in quick fashion as well.
Jon is probably the greatest of all time but Daniel Cormier may can take that crown just off a win against him. Daniel Cormier is almost flawless in every fight but it’s something about Jon that allows him to throw him off of his game. Jon really knows how to take DC out of humble state and throws off his game. If they do have a rematch should it be at Light Heavyweight or Heavyweight and who’s belt should be on the line? Who wins if they run it back for a 3rd time but Jon tests clean this time around?
